Dear Wonderful Wanda! We LOVED your website. Your Phoenix logo is just OUTSTANDING. It reminds me of a picture "Wild Bill" gave me during one of our conventions. It was a beautiful lady rising from the rags of an old, dead lady. I ended up giving that to your Mother because "Wild Bill" was her wonderful friend. Thanks so much for sharing it with us; we will go there often! And thanks for asking us to share with you and others. God is revealing Himself to EVERYONE, and in sharing with each other, we more rapidly get the entire picture. What a wonderful opportunity!
Just recently, the Lord has enlightened the following scripture to us: John 12:25 where it talks about the consequences of loving and hating your life in this world! God has caused us to realize that "emotional attachment to ourselves" is what is dragging everyone into their grave. The emotions and emotional attachment to self is the veil which was torn when Jesus died. We can think that we are emotionally attached to a myriad of things, but it all boils down to emotional attachment to self. This attachment is so much a part of our nature that we think that's the way it's supposed to be. The deception has been SO-O-O subtile that we haven't even known we've been deceived. But, John 12:25 states it so bluntly that it almost knocks you down! "He who hates his life in this world (is divested of emotional attachment to himself) SHALL KEEP IT UNTO LIFE ETERNAL".
But, this emotional detachment cannot happen (as with everything else) until the Spirit causes it. When it happened to me (about a month ago) I didn't even know what it was until it was gone. When that emotional attachment to self is gone, YOU ARE FREE, INDEED. The story of Jesus and the disciples in the boat during the storm is such a good illustration of this phenomenon. The fear the disciples had was caused from emotional attachment to their own lives and property. Jesus, on the other hand, had no fear of anything, which gave Him power over the storm - instead of the storm having power over Him.
Wanda, this truth has caused us to break through any and all boundaries. We have absolutely NO LIMITATIONS. Interestingly, when we were last at Declo, We had been knowing that there were no limitations. One of the ladies at the meeting, Rusty, sat down on the chair for a moment in front of me, reached her hand around to clasp mine, and said "There are no boundaries". That was it - the confirmation!
As far as your mother's meetings, we don't yet know where or what, but we will most certainly be there when we do know. God, in His wonderful way, has given us a newer car, and we have been wanting to take it for a spin!
