"Contact Experience"

Something new and different is going on
In Christianity
Movements
Changes in the past have had labels
But this current action God is taking
Cannot be named and turned into another denomination
There is a stirring
A disruption in routine Christianity
A holy dissatisfaction in
Christianity trying to define God
Work for God
But does not want to know God
Not really
No matter how devoted our religious mind is
It still wants to rule
Keeping a safe distance between our self and God
To really know God is to experience God
To have contact experience with Him
Which can be very disrupting to say the least
His pure love is overwhelming to our mind and senses
He is captivating!
But He also communicates His reality through
The Fear of God
My definition of the Fear of God is
Exhilarating terrifying life-energizing humiliation
Knocking me off any platform Iâ?Tve erected for myself
On the other hand His gentleness
Is like being kissed by
A jillion butterflies all at once
With all these pitiful little words said
Not one word is adequate
To describe God
You have to know Him yourself
By experience
I sense a growing desire to really
Know God
To have contact experience with God
Coursing through all Christianity
This is a desire He puts inside us
We donâ?Tt initiate that and we canâ?Tt take credit for it
Itâ?Ts a God-planted thing
Turning in His direction comes next
Digging through the Bible and other books
Trying to understand God
Experience God
Is part of our personal discovery
To those who have tried and failed to experience God
I say, donâ?Tt give up!
This means He is just digging a deeper
God-hole in you
You will never be a shallow believer
You wonâ?Tt be a copy of another believer
You will be different
And you will pay the price for being different
But you will know God
You will experience God as no other has ever known Him
Or will ever know Him
Experiencing God is to discover
And experience
Your true self!
