What do I mean by believing in Him? What was really accomplished at Calvary"
Believing means to be confident in Him, assured in Him, to trust in the truth of God in Him. When He said that He and the Father were one; that He was "in" the Father and He was "in"you and that you were "in" Him. How could we believe such a thing as that? We have been told over and over again that we were nothing but sinners. How could sinners be "in" Christ or "in" the Father? Jesus told this to the disciples before He went to Calvary. Can you imagine what was going through their minds? We are told that we are sinners saved by grace; that God now sees us through the blood of Jesus that was shed on Calvary. But we still have to make our selves right with God by doing this or not doing that. What was the purpose of His dying if we could make ourselves right with God? "HE WHO "KNEW" NO SIN WAS MADE TO BECOME SIN THAT WE WOULD BECOME THE "RIGHTEOUSNESS" OF GOD" RIGHTEOUSNESS MEANS RIGHT WITH GOD!!!!" YOU WERE MADE RIGHTEOUS BY HIM, IT WAS NONE OF YOUR DOING!! BUT.....NOT ONLY WERE YOU MADE RIGHTOUS, BUT JESUS CHRIST DIED TO ABOLISH THE EMNITY THAT WAS BETWEEN GOD AND MAN!!! THAT EMNITY THAT WAS BETWEEN MAN AND GOD WAS IN OUR "KNOWLEDGE" AND "UNDERSTANDING"!! IN THE MIND OF MAN!!!
God so loved that He(the Word) became flesh and dwelt among us. He was tempted even as we are; He felt our weaknesses and infirmities through the vessel Jesus. Jesus was the "FIRST" human vessel to "KNOW" the "FULLNESS" of God's presence within. That is what made Him the "Christ". This is very hard for some to believe. But that is because we can neither believe nor "know" unless God reveals it to us. Do you know that He is our BELIEF, our FAITH, and our KNOWING? Who can reveal God unto us except God? He chooses the time and place. In the appointed time; ALL shall be made "ALIVE" in Him!!! We are being awakened unto who we are in Him. We are ALL coming "ALIVE" in Him!! We are "KNOWING" that we know, that we know that we are ONE with Him!! God so loves us that He is causing us to "KNOW" Him and who we are in HIM!! We have been given the mind of Christ!! He knew who He was; and what His purpose was! Our purpose is to manifest the ALMIGHTY LIVING GOD in the flesh to those who have not seen or heard Him!! We are LIFE GIVING SPIRIT!! all because of GOD'S LOVE!! Now we are partakers of HIS DIVINE NATURE!!which is LOVE!!! GOD'S LOVE HAS REVEALED HIMSELF AND WE ARE IN HIM!!!!
