One With God

A writing by Pastor Bill Green

This was sent to me from Pastor Bill Green

and I wanted to share it with you. The message is

"Hearing and Doing His Will"

We see the dark clouds fading away and the glory of God appearing causing types and shadows to fade away from our consciousness.  We are now better understanding the mind of Christ within.  However, a little knowledge can be dangerous when used prematurely; to me, this is one of the reasons that the Lord teaches patience to His sons.  It seems to be the nature of most, as soon as the Lord shows something to them, they feel a need to tell it.  This is a dangerous move.In order to make a complete statement, we need all facts.  I am reminded of a time when the Lord spoke to my heart, to give a man I knew, who was an alcoholic, ten dollars.  I gave him ten dollars and proceeded to tell him not to spend it on alcohol or it would make him sick.  As I turned to go back to my house, the Spirit rose up within me, and I heard His voice so clear, "I didn't tell you to tell him that, I told you to give him ten dollars."  It became obvious to me:  it is important to be on guard with our words.  Sometimes we have a  tendancy to add to or take away from the things  the Lord is speaking.  This to me is evidence that the shadows we were walking in are fading away as the Lord brings correction to us.  We are Spirit, with a flesh, blood, bone body.  We came from the Father and we shall return to Him.  He has given us charge over our body and it's function.  We are the master of our house.  Jesus stated " in self, He could do nothing".  However, He recognized the power of His Father and called upon Him.  He also made it clear that His actions were not His own, but the will and the action of the Father that sent Him.  We must learn to live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, not adding to or taking away.  The self part of us must be as much God as the spirit is.  It is important to know who you are in God and who God is in you.  I can hear the prayer of Jesus as He asked the Father to make us one, as He and the Father are one.  What does all this mean? this royal us company appearing on earth? a generation of chosen ones, appearing in the full glory of the King? coming forth in the midst of Him and He is the midst of them?   He that hath an ear let him hear what the Spirit is saying.  Will there be a coming forth of a people in the fullness of Jesus Christ?  Will the darkness give way to the Light appearing in them?  Can you hear what the Spirit is telling us in this hour?  How do we know these things of the Lord?  It is without a doubt that man has not revealed this unto us!  That which is being manifested in these last days, is not the result of something revealed to us by man.  It is that which has been revealed to us by the Father.  As soon as we grasp this, our eyes and ears will be open to see and hear what the Spirit is doing in our temple.  We will know the revelation within His temple, not made with hands.  Ask what ye will and it shall, not maybe or I hope, but, it shall be revealed unto thee.  As flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of Heaven, because of the limitation of it's boundaries, the carnal mind, the sin conscious mind, neither can flesh and blood reveal anything unto you.  As Jesus said unto John," no man has revealed this unto thee."  Therefore, the things of the Spirit can only be revealed by the Spirit, not man.  The Father gave us the Spirit, which abides within.  This is the reality that liberates us from the powers outside ourselves.  We are the Father's will in the earth, we are not lost or undone as some would believe.  It is Father working in us, bringing forth His will and not ours.  It is a glorious truth! the Christ within!  He has revealed it to us, and as we walk in the understanding of His abiding within; we shall see and know the heighth and depth of the Lord.  In Him, we live, move and have our being.  It is sometimes hard to walk away from the things that we have been taught down through the years.  I thank God that He has given us the truth and therefore, we are free from the bondage of the materialistic world.  We are seeing high places, which has held man in bondage for so long, come down.  Praise God!!  What a day we are in!  One of the reasons it is hard to come out from among the organized church is because of the love and fellowship we experienced when among them.  Regardless of the comfort we had of going along with the crowd, it is a known fact, that we will always gravitate toward that which we love.  When we stop and consider the indwelling Christ and the life that He gives us, we find our attention being drawn to that within.  As we grow in our understandin of His life in us, the materialistic world loses it's hold.  Our attention is drawn away from the temporal to that temple of God, which is eternal! and of course, YOU ARE THAT TEMPLE of God!! and He abides within!  I realize that when one walks this path of the Lord, he or she will not be received by the church, as they were in the past.  When one begins to see other than hell, fire and judgement, they are no longer welcome.  They say, "how dare you say that God is going to save all men."   If the truth were taught, some of the ministers would be without a job.  They well know that.  Our God is a God of love!  His love casts out fear!  He sent His son to save the world, not fill it with the fear of hell fire.  Romans 8:32--"He that spared not His own son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him, also freely give us all things."  1Corinthians 16:14--"Let all you things be done with charity," with love.  Everything we have need of is provided by the Lord.  We are to walk in the freedom of the Spirit, knowing that we are not our own, and the life we live is given us by the grace of God.  As Paul stated, "I live, yet not I, but Christ."  Therefore, as children of God, we should walk in full assurance "we are what we are, because He is, and as He is, so are we in this world."  I would encourage the children of God to not be hasty in their actions.  I found the Lord to not be in a hurry.  I realize that we are living in the fast pace of modern technology, and it is hard not to be caught up in the frenzy of the crowd around us.  I marvel at the workings of the Lord in His children!  His love and His patience has never been more obvious to me than in the past few weeks.  The Christ Today ministries were traveling, of course living out of suitcases and sleeping in the different motels, not an easy task, especially when you are my age.  However, we had wonderful blessings along the way and in the different states that we traveled.  After six weeks, we were ending our journey in Modesto, California, the last scheduled meeting for this trip, and wouldn't you know, the Lord moved in a wonderful way, bringing a refreshing, not only to our spirits, but to our bodies as well.  I remember on our way home from California to Utah, my wife, Darlene, said,"I wish we were going to Idaho," now isn't that just like the Lord?  I wanted to say that in Modesto, at the meeting, the Lord spoke of a higher realm in Him, bringing out the fact that this was a new day for us.  As for me, I felt a confidence in the Lord to sit down and observe in the Spirit the workings of the Spirit and to sit until the Lord wanted me to be involved in something; then He would send me in His Spirit to do His will.  There is a day when we cease from our works and rest in the Lord.  We have labored long enough, trying to find our place in the Lord.  Hear the voice of the Spirit calling,"Come unto Me and I will give you rest."  When we do all we know to do and work to all we know to work, to please Him, and it all fails; then we will cease from self motivation and depend on the Holy Spirit, Who is there all the time to give us rest.  I realize there are some who feel we have reached the heighth of the Spirit, where the Bible is no longer necessary and the gifts and old order.  I would like to remind the reader of the scripture, in Ephesians 4:11&12--"He gave some apostles and some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ."  Yes, the saints of God are going to be perfect and it will be the messengers of the Lord that will bring them into perfection.  I wonder, do we realize the ability and the power given us by the Spirit of God to do His will in this day?  I can see a harmony starting to be manifested among the brothers and sisters.  I know how we often speak of how the Lord always supplies all our needs and I want to confess to that fact.  However, I can sense that there is an awakening to the fact, that when I say my needs, I am speaking of just one portion of the body.  I believe, or at least my eyes are being opened to the fact that the needs I have must include the whole body of Christ, not just one portion of it.  We worry about getting old and depending on Social Security to take care of us and fail to see that we are the supply, not some government program.  Yes, we are going to see the manifested Sons of God in action; taking care of it's own, meeting the needs of each member, from the least to the greatest.  We speak of the first fruit company.  I wonder, do we conjur up in our minds some power that is going to make us great in the eyes of the world? or do we realize that in order to live, we must first die.  The greater works will be manifested through those who have lived and died and behold, they live again.  Dead to the world and all of it's workings.  Then we can realize the death and resurrection of our identity.  We are, because the Father has made us to be  who and what we are.  The door is open and our abiding place is through the open door.  I can hear the voice of the Spirit calling, "Come up here and sit with Me in heavenly places.  I have prepared the way for you."  Let's look at the scriptures in Ephesians again, this time in a little greater depth," He gave some apostles(strong believers) and some prophets(who interpret Divine will), some evangelists(Christians who converts others), some pastors(spiritual advisors), and teachers( one who teaches for the perfecting or reproducing of the original, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying, (morally useful knowledge for the body of Christ).  So there are strong believers, and interpreters of Divine will, along with those who get others converted, and a spiritual advisor advises them and a spiritual teacher teaches them.  Working together, this brings them to the exact image of Christ.  The Lord has not left us isolated from His body.   Rather, He is knitting us together as one; giving us the tools necessary to shape us into the very person of Himself.  The ministry tools that He provided will continue working until we are flawless before Him in love; bringing us to maturity until we are ready for the manifestation of His glory to be revealed in us.  As stated in Romans 8:22--"the whole creation groans and labors in vain, waiting for this day, when they will be free from the futility of lack of usefulness or effectiveness, that they have been made subject to, not willingly, but because of Him, who subjected it in hope, the expectation of the future good."  We can see the Father had a purpose and plan for Adam, for man, who did not surrender to a power or force that God was not aware of.  Adam's actions were all in the purpose and plan of God.  I realize that there are those who believe that Satan put one over on God and now God is struggling to save a few of HIs creation.  This I must say is ridiculous! and completely unacceptable!  God is all powerful! all wise Creator of all things! He is all present! nothing can or ever will happen that He did not purpose and plan!!  So, God had a purpose for Adam and Eve that reaches through the ages to this day.  Now we can look again and see what it is talking about in Ephesians, He gave us everything necessary to bring us to the full oneness in Him!! So when we read about Adam, we can see what effect it had on you and me.  We dare not think that God made a mistake or some power was able to do something contrary to His plan.  Do we understand all the workings of our Father? not yet, but, we will know Him as we are known.  We will see the beginning and the ending of this matter.  We will understand it is all working  for our good to bring us into the oneness in Him.  Our Father God created all things both in heaven and in earth, those things visible and invisible.  All things are in His hand and created by Him.   He is before all things and by Him all things are maintained, or continue to exist.  He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son.  He loved the world and gave His Son for the world.  By the hand of the Lord Jesus Christ, all things are reconciled to the Father.  By the shedding of His blood, he has accomplished both in heaven and in earth, even to you, who were in times past alienated and hostile in your mind, because of evil works, He has now been given.  Through the sacrifice of His body, His death, so that He may raise you holy, without reproach and blameless.  Our expectation for the future is swallowed up in the "NOW" God.  We see that HE IS ALL AND IN ALL!!!  The manifestation of His Sons, His Seed, is springing forth in the victory of the Spirit!  Therefore, we are reminded in Colossians 3:1--" seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God, to set our minds on things above, not on things of the earth; for we are dead and we are hidden(deliberately concealed)in Christ, in God, and when Christ, who is our life, appears( or be seen in public)then shall you also appear(be seen in public) with Him, in glory(awesome splendor and astounding beauty!!).    We have hope, expectation of future good.  The Father sent His Son to equip us with all power and authority.   Of course the power and glory is not according to our carnal way of thinking, but the coming forth of the Christ within.  This is the splendor, the astounding beauty being made manifested in the Sons of God!!  When we understand here that our life is like a vapor, which appears for a little while and then vanishes away, James 4:14.  Our confidence is alive, much greater than that which is compared to a vapor.  The life we have cannot be measured.  As He is, so are we.  Being joined to Him, we are one Spirit, one body, one new man! Love and Blessings, Pastor Bill Green
